Sand Cast 9ct Gold Ring

This 9ct gold ring is individually handmade by sand casting, an ancient technique of pouring molten gold into a sand mould, this creates a beautiful ring with an organic tactile texture.

Making a ring using this method means there is no join, creating a symbolic ring with no beginning or end making it the perfect choice for a wedding ring.

This ring is approx. 2.5mm wide but it has an undulating form so has areas which are slightly thicker or thinner. It has been given a matt finish on the outside of the ring and a refined polished finish on the inside.

As this ring is entirely made to order it is possible to have it made in different metals, the pictured ring is 9ct yellow gold, but it is possible to make in rose or white gold, and either in 9ct, 14ct or 18ct gold or silver, please get in touch to enquire about the cost of higher carat golds. It is also possible to make in wider sizes.

PLEASE NOTE:
This ring will require UK hallmarking which will increase the time it takes to make, please allow 4-5 weeks. If, however you need a quick turn around get in touch as this my be possible for a small additional charge.

I handmake all my jewellery using recycled silver and gold from UK suppliers, all from my jewellery workshop in Paisley, Scotland. Due to the handmade nature of these rings each one will vary slightly from the next, adding to their individual handmade charm.
